We use the oxygen method of investigation of the production
of the phytoplankton (Garder and Gran(1927), modification described
in the "Standard methods for the examination of waters and wastewa-
ters (14th Edition)(1975)"). It is interesting and important for us
to know if anybody else use this method in the investigations of phy-
toplankton, what new modifications and improvements of this method
are developed now.
