Mg Ions In The Chloroplast

I am researching Isoprene Synthesis in response to high CO2.
The enzyme is sensitive to Mg ion concentration, pH (and maybe Thioredoxin).

What effects might elevated CO2 (in the short or long term) have upon Mg
levels in the stroma?
