Jess,

Just curious as to why PP Systems' CIRAS wasn't on your list? I
purchased the CIRAS for the lab two years ago and have been nothing but
pleased. We've had PP System design a custom chamber for us and we
generally like that they go out of their way to give us good service.
We took the ADC4 off our list after repeated poor service for our ADC2
here in the U.S.. We've heard that ADC has fixed the service program in
the States, but I'm still pleased that we chose the CIRAS. Remember that
Dr. Parkinson was a key figure in the ADC design and he is now heading
PP Systems. Also, important in my decission was the history that both
ADC and Dr. Parkinson (hence, PP Systems) have with the "open system"--
Li-Cor has traditionally used "closed systems", having just recently
offered the "open system" capability.

Anyway, I looked at all three systems when we bought our CIRAS and think
they are all comparable. I'll be curious to see what other comments you
get.

Sincerely,
Amanda Braley Boose
