POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
RESEARCH TECHNICIAN
The Botany Department at Arizona State University seeks a Research
Technician to, under supervision, conduct experiments examining leaf
optical properties, photosynthesis and phenolic compound localization and
identification, maintain lab stocks, keep equipment operational, supervise
student workers.
This position is funded by a project examining the significance of
UV-induced autofluorescence to photosynthesis in leaves. The full-time
position is for one year, with possibility for renewal for an additional
year. It requires a minimum of a BS in one of the Life Sciences or Physical
Sciences, or four years research experience in photochemistry or
photobiology, or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education
from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
