RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
1996-present Jiangxi Agricultural University
Research projects-The first is the study on
the control mechanism of starch accumulation
in developing endosperm of rice, including
the differences of the activities of enzymes
involved in the starch synthesis of
developing rice endosperm among varieties
and different position of a panicle, the
effects of the levels of sucrose, IAA, ABA,
and CTK supplied in the cultural medium on
the activities of key enzymes involved in
that proceeding. The second is the study on
the characters of root system and
photosynthetic properties of different
genotypes of rice for tolerance to low-P
stress conditions. And the third is about
the characters of translocation and its
control factors for carbohydrate reserved
in the stem and sheath of two-line hybrid
rice plants after flowering.
1993-1995 Zhongshan University
Research projects-The effects of source-sink
ratios and nitrogen and potassium nutrition
supplied at initial heading stage on the
photosynthesis, the partitioning of
assimilate and leaf senescence.
1990-1992 Jiangxi Agricultural University
Research projects-The first is the location
study of the high yield and high efficiency
of the double cropping rice. The second is
the source-sink relationship of two-line
hybrid rice.
1987-1989 Jiangxi Agricultural University
Research projects-The main research work was
the study on the characteristics of nitrogen
and potassium absorption and their relation
to the yield formation with different growth
duration of hybrid rice varieties.
1984-1986 Jiangxi Agricultural University
Research projects-The study of the
characteristics of dry matter
production, redistribution of reserves in
the stem and sheath, and grain filling of
large panicle type rice varieties.
