POSTDOCTORAL POSITION at UC SAN DIEGO in PLANT MOLECULAR BIOLOGY
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Prof. Nigel
Crawford in the Dept. of Biology at UCSD to work on the molecular
mechanisms of gene and enzyme regulation, ion transport, signal
transduction and metabolic control in the nitrate assimilation pathway of
Arabidopsis. Recent papers from the lab include: Plant Cell 7: 859-868,
Plant Cell 8: 519-527, Plant Cell 8: 2183-2191, PNAS 93: 9297-9301, Plant
Physiol 115: 1135-1143.
Candidates with extensive experience in molecular biology (plant, animal or
prokaryotic) with focus on genetics or biochemistry are encouraged to
