UV radiation, impaired photosynthesis, global warming?

Curious:  If the ozone layer is diminished further--emitting more UV radiation
in the process--will this negatively impact photosynthesis among phytoplankton?
 And if this occurs, will this increase CO2 levels in the atmosphere, leading
to more global warming?
