Dear Photosynthesizers:

Please visit the following new sites:

[1] Larry Orr and Govindjee's site that has a 6-page article
"Photosynthesis and the World Wide Web" at the following address:

<http://www.life.uiuc.edu/govindjee/photoweb/> It has a text and links to
many exciting sites.

[2] A new one-page site with links for teaching photosynthesis from the
Internet from the very basics (articles by Devens Gust and Wim Vermaas)
to the current Bioenergetics course of Tony Crofts at the following
address:

<http://www.life.uiuc.edu/govindjee/photoweb/WWWoverview.html>

The above material was presented at the International Photosynthesis
Congress in Budapest (August, 1998).

I hope that it will be of some use to some of you in your efforts
to teach photosynthesis to others. I will appreciate receiving comments as
well as addresses of any exciting "free" site on photosynthesis and related
topic that we have missed. We donot wish to list commercial sites that
require payment, at least at this stage. Please address this information
to gov at uiuc.edu
Thanks.

Finally, anyone who wishes to link the above site(s) to their Web pages is
welcome to do so, but I would appreciate knowing about it.

Govindjee
