Postdoctoral Research Fellow
A three year post-doctoral position is available in the photosynthesis
research group to work on the mechanism of water oxidation by photosystem II
of plants and algae. The programme will use a range of biochemical and
spectroscopic techniques in an international collaboration to analyse
specific PSII mutants. A background in biochemistry or spectroscopy would be
an advantage. Training in new techniques will be given. The post is funded
by the Leverhulme Trust.
Starting salary will be on the RA1A scale (17,869-19,704 pounds including
London allowance) according to qualifications and relevant experience.
