there was a paper by Papageorgiou about "Photodynamic effects of
hypericin on photosynthetic electron transport and fluorescence of
Anacystis" published in Photosynthesis Research 48, 221-226, 1996. It
doesn't seem to be a review article but I hope I could help you anyway.
