The coming 4th Asia-Pacific Conference on Algal Biotechnology (APCAB
'2000) will be held in the `Pearl of the Orient', Hong Kong, one of the
most splendid and beautiful city in the world. Hong Kong is renowned
for its sensational shopping, fabulous food, scintillating nightlife,
diverse sightseeing and a rich cultural heritage.
The Conference (3-6 July 2000) will be held at the Hong Kong Convention
& Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), one of the best venue in Asia for holding
international conferences, which was also the venue for the official
ceremony of handover of Hong Kong back to China in 1997.
