Post-doctoral positions in the Photosynthesis Research lab of the Groupe de
Recherche en Énergie et Information Biomoléculaires at Quebec University in
Trois-Rivières.
Two positions are available for post doctoral research associates to work
on photoinhibition in photosystem I. A background knowledge of biochemical
and/or biophysical techniques used in photosynthesis research is required.
The mechanism of photoinhibition of photosystem I and its influence on
energy dissipation will be studied. Our approach will use techniques such
as UV-Vis spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, photoacoustic
spectroscopy, FTIR, capillary electrophoresis, etc.. These positions are
available from next fall and are for one year with possibility of renewal.
