I have started to collect photographs of historical aspects of
photosynthesis: photos of historical authorities, and their coworkers and
of instruments used in classical and historical experiments.
I would appreciate receiving this material; I plan to give
due credit to
those sending this material (please provide the necessary information: your
name and address; full names of things and persons in the photo; date and
place of photo; credit line; what was the person known for, etc; any
reference). The idea is to make this available on web pages and ultimately
selected ones in articles or books in the future.

have electronic copies available, you can send by E-mail attachments as
"jpeg" files to gov at uiuc.edu
I would also appreciate knowing Web sites you are aware of that deal with
historical aspects related to photosynthesis and associated persons. I know
