I wish to inform the photosynthesis community that Dr. Frank K. Fong
is using the Nicelist
(http://photoscience.la.asu.edu/photosyn/nicelist.html) that I
maintain, without my permission. I have attempted to get him to cease
and desist in his actions, but have not been successful. I believe
the Nicelist serves the photosynthesis community as an informal
"phone book" for those that request to be listed. I feel quite badly
about the way Dr. Fong is using it and hope that you will be
understanding that there is little that can be done to stop him from
my end.
However, you can stop him from your end. It does no good to send him
requests to remove you from the list; he will just rebroadcast his
rejection of your request. Instead, you can put an end to this
nightmare by using the filtering capabilities of your email browser.
Just set up a filter that automatically moves anything received from
"Nsffunding" into your trash file. You will have to check your
browser instructions on how to do this, but once it is done, his
messages will be where they belong and you can get on with your life.
