Dear Professor Govindjee,
In answer to your message on Death Notice for 8 in 2004, we have also the
sadness of announcing the death, last 7 June 2004, of our colleague and
leader group, Dr. Julio L=F3pez Gorg=E9. For many years he was a fine
scientist on photosynthesis, specially involved in the understanding of
carbon metabolism through the study of the key enzyme chloroplastic
fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase. He was working at the Plant Biochemistry and
Molecular and Cellular Biology Department of the Estaci=F3n
Experimental of Zaid=EDn in Granada (Spain), belonging to the Spanish
Research Council.
