Dears Mark and Ellen,

You can get the C4 pathway list of plants from Photosynthetica 1992, 
26:323-331 and Photosynthetica 1978, 12:200-208 (attached file).

To distinguish between C3 and C4 plants you have to provide either 
measurement of compensation point or do measurements of photosynthesis at 
1% and 21% of O2 in sample air using any closed system for photosynthesis 
measurements (IRGA) like CIRAS-2 or TPS-2 from PP Systems Company 
(http://www.ppsystems.com).
