To Ray Russ, and those interested in the Ohio Flora Series, claimed
to be "one of the best known of any of any of the 50 states", the
4-volume set at this time is as follows:

Braun, E.L. and C.G. Weishaupt. 1967. The Monocotyledonae: Cat-tails
to Orchids.

Dicotyledonae of Ohio,
Part 2, Linaceae through Campanulaceae, T.S. Cooperrider. 1995
   Part 3, Asteraceae, T.R. Fisher. 1990

Braun, E.L. 1961 reprint Woody Plants of Ohio.

Available from O.S.U. Press, 180 Pressey Hall, 1070 Carmack Road,

I'm wondering if any readers out there can point me towards any texts
similar to the classic _Vascular Flora of the Carolinas_.

My understanding is that it was one of the most complete inventories
of an
area *ever* performed in North America and would like to know if
other
such texts exist.

Thanks for any input.
