One of the easiest plants in which to see cytoplasmic streaming is
Plagiomnium, or any of the Mniums (in the broader sense). Since these are
one cell thick, interfering tissues don't obstruct the view. You can
probably find these plants in shady places along paths or even on campus
under shrubs. We have a several big patches on campus under shrubs.
Mnium is also available from biological supply houses.
