preserving flowers and leaves

We do this by freezing flowers (Magnolia, Day lilies, etc.) in plastic bags
in the summer.  When the students are ready to dissect the flowers, they are
taken from the freezer and handed out.  The flowers last just long enough
for dissection.  It works really well!
