I generally do this project with a solution of B-9 as a soil drench
too. If you hit the seedlings when the epicotyl is just clearing
the soil surface, both the GA and B-9 effects are quite striking.
The GA converts the dwarf (Little Marvel or Sugar Bon) into a "tall",
and B-9 converts the tall (Alaska or Sugar Snap) into a "dwarf."
B-9 is thought to block synthesis of GAs.
