That sounds like a letter I could have written. I teach the same kind of
course and now use" The Plant Kingdom" 5th edition (1987) by Bold and
LaClaire. It is short and concise, inexpensive - but of course needs to
be supplemented and updated in taxonomy. I have been sorely tempted to
write such a text but it probably is not aimed at a big enough market.
I suspect that there are not lots of Plant Morphology courses going on.
