I'm interested to learn what instrumentation (e.g. spectrophotometer,
gel electrophoresis apparatus, photosynthesis chamber) is used by
subscribers to this newsgroup in laboratory investigations for general
(introductory level) courses in biology, botany, or zoology designed for
science majors. I'm guessing that our repetoire needs updating and
expansion in comparison to other institutions and looking for hard data.
I expect that responses will have to interpreted in light of
type of institution (public or private) and number of students in course,
so I would appreciate this information also.
