facultative Cam plants

Hi,
    Could anyone tell me whether Chlorophytum comosum is known as
a facultative CAM plant? or simply a C3 plant. Thank you for
your help. That would help explain some results one of my student
obtained after exposing the plant daily to formaldehyde.
