We are currently trying to derive protoplasts from Avocado roots. We have
tried high doses of of Cellulase and Macerase (~0.1%) to no avail. We have
also tried searching the literature for protocols, but have found none. If
anyone is aware of a protocol for deriving protoplasts from roots it would
greatly be appreciated. Any and all responses can be posted here or e-mailed
