As a follow-up to my recent posting, I did find (thanks to the kind
suggestion of Gary Hannan) an on-line version of Flora of North America.

Already, I spent about 1.5 hours downloading a whole bunch of stuff
pertaining to the genus Lycopodium and reorganizing it into an illustrated
key that I will find easier to use than the others available. Geez, the
wonders of modern technology!
