Organismal Biologist
Grinnell College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position
as an Assistant Professor of Biology to begin in August, 1998. We seek an
organismal biologist committed to teaching and research in a liberal arts
environment. Candidates should be well qualified to teach introductory
courses such as "Structure and Function of Organisms" and "Evolution and
Ecology", an advanced course in their area of specialty, and a non-majors
course. Grinnell College is seeking candidates with post-doctoral research
experience who will conduct an active research program involving
undergraduates. Start-up funds, support for student-faculty research, and
excellent facilities are available. In their letters of application,
candidates should address their interest in undergraduate teaching in a
