I don't use Netscape and in my case hitting the STOP button gives
the response:- "Stopping at end of current message".
An attempt to abort by pulling the plug merely resulted in the
message starting again - at the beginning! - next time I logged on.
Total time wasted, and paid for, approx 17 mins. And, as far as
I'm concerned, it was in some foreign code.
I flew off the handle....
It may be of interest to note that the five 'flames' received
by email were all from ladies - perhaps made of sterner stuff?
