In the wild, I believe Yuccas are pollinated only by the Yucca Moth.
Artificial pollination may be difficult. I think I may have an article
on this from back issues of the Missouri Conservationist. I will look
for it & see if I remember rightly. Yuccas grow profusly here in MO,
many self-seed in my yard. This is the Yucca Filimentosa, also called
Adam's Needle or the Spanish Bayonet. I'd be happy to send some seeds,
though I don't know if they would get there (NZ) viably or not.
