Colleagues:
This semester I am having a team of senior-level students put together an
on-line taxonomic key to vascular plants for a local park (URL will be
http://wilkes1.wilkes.edu/~kirbypl/index.html). The hope is to facilitate
pre-college students who have access to the web, but not to field guides or
keys, to learn more about the plants in the park.
As part of their project, the students are being asked to develop a
proposal complete with literature citations.
Does anybody know whether published articles, or other examples of such
on-line keys exist (even for taxa besides plants), and if so, provide
directions to that information.
