Amber, this group gets questions like this from time to time and it appears
to many that they come from students who are asked to find an answer and
the studnet attempts to take the easy way out, soliciting for someone else
to answer for them. As educators, we want students to find the answer for
themselves, to discover things. In the case of your question, the answer is
so basic that even high school text books would have that answer. If your
text does not have the answer, there are on-line text books that will allow
you to find that answer.
In one of your net browsers, do a search for "botany" and you will find
numerous links that will help you.
