A correction to my previous message: "Because the CO2/O2 ratios are low in cells where/when the secondary CO2 fixation occurs, photorespiration is minimized." should read as "Because the CO2/O2 ratios are greater in cells where/when the secondary CO2 fixation occurs, photorespiration is minimized."
