I was surprised recently to find one of our local grocery stores has a
collection of edible flowers for sale. I was tempted to buy a box just to
get the list on the back. I do remember that it included roses and
marigolds! The latter did surprise me.
I have a wonderful recipe book by Adrienne Crowhurst called THE FLOWER
COOKBOOK (also author of THE WEEK COOKBOOK, which I haven't seen), from
Lancer Books, New York, 1973. At that time it sold for $2.95 plus $.10
