The Scottish Wildlife Trust - Perth Wildlife Survey Team

We now have vacancies for new applicants on the following course: Higher
National Certificate in Habitat Surveying for Wildlife Conservation. The
course is not all theory as it involves a great deal of practical
fieldwork. The team is based in the town of Perth in the beautiful county
of Perthshire. The training is free and aimed at unemployed people who have
been out of work for 6 months or more and are keen to aquire the skills,
knowledge and experience necessary to pursue a career in environmental
conservation. Although the course is aimed at the unemployed, there are
limited exceptions to the entry requirements, e.g. persons with
disabilities.

The Scottish Wildlife Trust is Scotland's leading voluntary body for the
conservation of all forms of wildlife and the natural environment. One
important area of our work is environmental training and work experience.
We are a Scottish Qualifications Authority approved training organisation
and involved in the development and implementation of new qualifications
for working in environmental conservation.
