FACULTY POSITION IN BIOLOGY AND SCIENCE EDUCATION

The Department of Botany/Biology invites applications for a 9-month,
full-time tenure track position in secondary science education. Rank is
open. The position has a joint appointment with the School of Education
and includes responsibilities as Director of the M.Ed. in Science Education
program and Director of the Center for Science and Mathematics Education.
Minimum qualifications: earned doctorate in science education or a
biological science; professional experience in school setting(s); potential
to write grant proposals and publish competitive work in science education
journals; effective oral and written communication skills. Preferred
qualifications: master's degree in a biological science or science
education; three or more years experience in full-time secondary science
teaching; demonstrated leadership in major science education initiatives
and funded projects; previous experience in college teaching; and
publications in science education journals. More details are available at
