BIOLOGY - MOLECULAR / CELLULAR BIOLOGIST - 1 YEAR LEAVE REPL.
The Biology Department of Grinnell College invites applications for a
one-year sabbatical-replacement position at the level of Assistant
Professor beginning August, 2000. Duties will include teaching an
introductory course in molecular genetics (including lab), assisting
with labs in an introductory cell biology course, teaching an
upper-level course in the candidate's area of expertise, and teaching
a course for non-science majors. A Ph.D. is required and
post-doctoral experience is preferred. In their letters of
application, candidates should address their interest in
undergraduate teaching in a liberal-arts environment that emphasizes
close faculty-student interaction. Excellent facilities and
financial support for student-faculty research are available. Send
