The next volume of "Flora of North America" is due out sometime this
year (I've read somewhere from February to May).
In the past, when I have ordered the earlier volumes, I did so through
Patricia Ledlie, who gave a significant discount for pre-ordering
books before publication, and up to 90 days after (and the cost of
these volumes IS significant, about $90 each). However, Ledlie is no
longer around :-( (at least as a bookseller). Does anyone know of a
similar source where one can order upcoming volumes at prices below
full publication price?
(I know this makes me sound cheap. But, like I say, these are not
inexpensive books)
