Kalanchoe is not just one plant. Kalanchoe is a large genus with species in
a wide variety of growth forms including annuals, perennials and shrubs.
Most but not all of the species are winter bloomers. Many of the species,
including the weedy viviparous ones, are now in the reinstated genus
Bryophyllum.
