Does anyone know a chemical for halting the function of chloroplasts,
while leaving mitochondria functioning?
Our molecular biologist is working on a photosynthesis lab. He plans to
use cyanide to knock out the mitochondria and just measure chloroplast
function (changes in carbon dioxide and oxygen levels), and would like
to knock out chloroplasts and be able to measure mitochondrial function.
Thanks -
Beverly
