Plant Ed Folks,
Is anyone aware of physiological / developmental differences between
male
and female plants in dioecious species, other than the obvious
differences
associated with flower structure and gametogenesis. Specifically I am
wondering whether male and female plants are differentially sensitive to
hormonal or environmental stimuli.
Thanks.
