free oat seeds

After several disappointments with Carolina, we now order barley seeds
in 50-pound (the minimum) sacks from the local elevator (farmer seed
supplier). This is way more than we need, and will not germinate well
more than about 2-3 years. Anybody in the US who wants some can send me
sufficient postage and a stamped, addressed priority mail label and we
will dispatch a baggie of seeds. Please check in advance, just in case
too many people take me up on the offer. These seeds have no herbicides,
and are meant for feed. They are higher protein and lower starch than
some, so for starch purposes you may need more than you think. I use
them for a nitrate/nitrite reductase class experiment I got from Bernie
Rubinstein.
