[Moderator's note - this is an ad and I am reluctant to forward it to
the group, but it may be of interest to some of you. My apologies to
the rest. JM]

The Flora of Australia is a series of approximately 50 volumes which are
being released over a twenty year period and which will cover the entire
flora of Australia. The plants are arranged according to the system of A.J.
Cronquist and are an indispensable tool in the identification of Australian
plants. These books are sought after by Plant Taxonomists and serious
Botanists with an interest in the Flora of Australia.

I am auctioning the following individual copies of the Flora of Australia,
most of which are out of print and are next to impossible to find second
hand. It is a unique opportunity to start collecting the series or to obtain
volumes to complete an incomplete collection.

The volumes on offer are-

1. (1981) Introduction

3. (1989) Hamamelidales to Casuarinales

4. (1984) Phytolaccaceae to Chenopodiaceae

8. (1982) Lecythidales to Batales

19. (1988) Myrtaceae- Eucalyptus, Angophora

22. (1984) Rhizophorales to Celestrales

25. (1985) Melianthaceae to Simaroubacaeae

29. (1982) Solanaceae

45. (1987) Hydatellaceae to Liliaceae

46. (1986) Iridaceae to Dioscoreaceae

(please note the volumes have not been released in numerical order. I have
indicated the release dates in brackets)

The books are in excellent condition and are hard cover editions by the
Bureau of Flora and Fauna, Canberra.

These books will be posted on Ebay- www.ebay.com on approximately 31/03/03

Ebay offers the purchaser security and convenient method of payment.
