Our department is trying to fill a temporary faculty position due to one of
our instructors leaving for another job and a long-term illness by another
faculty member. The position is more for A&P but thought some of you may
know of candidates still looking outside of plant science? Note that we

ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
The Department of Biology, Valdosta State University, seeks a temporary,
full-time instructor/assistant professor for the period 1 August to 31
December 2003 with the possibility of teaching during the spring semester,
2004. The successful candidate must be able to teach non-majors biology,
human anatomy and physiology lectures and associated laboratory courses.
Master's degree will be considered, but doctorates are preferred. Applicants
