Does anyone know of what might be described as seminal papers in various
botanical fields?
My department has asked one of our really good junior faculty to
undertake a series of readings to better establish her knowledge in
plant biology. She's at a tiny campus that requires her to teach
somewhat outside her doctoral training.
I am to be one off her mentors, with my area being plant morphology and
anatomy. I cannot reasonably say "Read Esau's Plant Anatomy" and/or
other books in physiology, taxonomy, etc.
