Wow, that was *extremely* helpful! Thanks very much, Ron! I'll probably 
use Loconte, H. and D. W. Stevenson. 1990. Cladistics of the 
Spermatophyta. Brittonia 42: 197-211. [S252]  Entered 6/18/98. It's got 
just the combination I want: a reasonably small number of taxa at a 
high level, using morphological criteria.
