[Plant-education] Creating phylogenetic trees in class based onMorphological data

MacClade <http://macclade.org/macclade.html> is kind of the standard.  
There is a free version that can only make smaller trees, but the  
full version isn't terribly expensive. We use the free version for  
our introductory biology classes in very much the way you describe.
