I was never one for lectures but Steve Dawkins is entertaining and, as
always, I continue to be impressed by the advances in modern technology that
our grand-daughter takes for granted. To get to the point, if you wish to

It was given on what was described as an ³inclement² evening and 400
people were turned a way from the door. This, some indication of the current
public interest in this topic in the U.K. Unlike the United States, teaching
in U.K state schools is not ostensibly secular and there are increasing
numbers of ³faith schools² which subscribe to the converse of the title of
this lecture and the views expressed by Steve Dawkins. Within the University

I must own up to the fact that I a not a ³clever² person, see no virtue in
Œintelligent design¹ and would much prefer a purely secular approach to
