Hi,
I've been asked to teach a course in plant health at a local botanical
garden. As you all know, plant health is a broad area: I thought that
I'd ask if anyone else has taught or knows of a similar course. All
info would be great, and I'll post a summary of what I learn.
Right now, topics for the course include:
1) Plant Nutrition (including demo)
2) Overview on plant diseases, pests
3) Systemic acquired resistance: mechanisms and applications
4) Stress: Mechanisms, ABA, and applied aspects
5) Agchemicals for the gardener: MOA and use
The class runs for 6 weeks. The class will be lecture with some lab
component and an opportunity to walk the garden.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
