My course is similarly titled to many others that have been stated
earlier in this thread, "Plants, People, and the Environment."
Environment in the title refers to the coverage of the role of plants
and agriculture in shaping our environment (the atmosphere, soil,
nutrient cycling) and the prospect of plant biotechnology in
addressing some aspects of the current environmental crisis.
