[Plant-education] Energy, Plants & Man

Although Amazon insists that it is ³currently unavailable² , my book 'Energy
Plants & Man' http://www.oxygraphics.co.uk/epm.htm has never been out of
print. In N.America, for example, it has always been stocked by University
Science Books http://www.uscibooks.com/ and in the U.K. by Oxygraphics
http://www.oxygraphics.co.uk/

The reason, why Amazon insists that 'Energy Plants & Man' is ³currently
unavailable² is simple enough. It is because they buy it, in turn, from
wholesale book sellers who find it commercially unattractive to stock large
books for which there is little demand.

Now that President Bush has started to believe in global climate change, it
seems that there has been a little flurry of interest in N.America and, of
course, it would give me much pleasure if University Science Books were to
sell its remaining stock. However, I would like to remind everyone that, in
accord with the spirit of ³Open Access¹, 'Energy Plants & Man' has long been
available in digital format (PDF) for free download and now resides at
http://www.dawalker.staff.shef.ac.uk/books/epmce07.pdf. This is intended for
the computer screen only but a version that allows reprinting is also
available for legitimate educational use.
