We purchased such shading from JANCO in 1998. It's been a royal pain.
The supports at the top of the houses broke repeatedly. In order to deal
with it we need a cherry picker. Consider how you would do that in your
location!
If you could get an internal shading system, do it!

Subject: [Plant-education] greenhouse shading
I am in need of replacing an external wood slat shade system that was
installed in 1971 on a greenhouse built atop a five story building in
the middle of campus.
Would you recommend the aluminum slat system for this.?
Where did you purchase your external aluminum shade system ?
Thanks for your help
